Questions

How do I turn text into a 3D STL file?

Type it above, pick a style and size, and press Download STL. The letters are joined, sized in millimetres and checked so the file slices cleanly.

Which style is best for a 3D printed name sign?

Standing sign for a desk or shelf, name plaque for doors and walls. Make standing signs at least 8 mm thick so they don't tip over.

Is the text to 3D generator free?

Yes, for personal use. Selling prints needs a Commercial License.
